Education:
Graduate of the Osteopathic College of Ontario.
Graduate of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Full training in Chinese Medicine including but not limited to acupuncture, herbal medicine,
tuina and shi liao (chinese dietary therapy).
Shanghai Medical University
– Clinical rotation in traditional Chinese medicine at Hua Shan Hospital.
Xiamen University
– Clinical rotation in traditional Chinese medicine at Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
– Clinical rotation in traditional Chinese medicine at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Graduate of Sutherland-Chan
– Massage Therapist and a registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Experience:
Currently holds a private practice in Markham Ontario Canada where he incorporates a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Osteopathic manipulation.
Teacher at the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Main subjects : TCM diagnostics (eg tongue & pulse), acupuncture point location, classical point selection, acupuncture needle techniques and student clinical training.
University of Toronto – Pharmacy faculty – Guest lecturer for alternative medicine.
Centennial College – Nursing faculty – Guest lecturer for alternative medicine.
Scarborough General Hospital AIM clinic – DAC assessor for accident related injuries. Clinical assessments and reports for treatments related to acupuncture, tuina and massage therapy.
Advanced training in myofascial pain syndromes – trigger point therapy - with pioneers such as Dr. Janet Travell M.D. and Robert Gerwin M.D.
